Description

This timberland, investment and hunting property has 1,600 feet of paved road frontage and multi-aged stands of loblolly pine and hardwood timber. The property is made up of three contiguous tax parcels. Access is provide by one mile of dirt roads that are suitable for vehicles. Another mile of walking and 4-wheeler trails provide additional access. Jordan Creek runs through a portion of the property and also along the western boundary. The property has good deer and turkey habitat and a beaver dam that may be suitable for duck hunting. The property is a little over an hour to Raleigh's outer beltline and about 15 minutes to Warrenton, NC. Lake Gaston is a few miles north of the property.

Directions

From Warrenton: Take Highway 158 East through the town of Macon. Go about a mile past Macon and turn left on Church Hill Road (SR 1355). Go about 2 miles and turn left on Blacks Road (SR 1334). The property is 1.7 miles on the right. Look for gravel entrance and yellow gate.

Timber Types

The property includes 155 acres of young to mid-aged loblolly pine, both naturally regenerated and planted. There are 36 acres of mature hardwoods in the bottomland and a 1 year old naturally regenerated loblolly pine and hardwood stand in the back of the property.
