Directions

From Rocky Mount Area: Take Interstate 95 North toward Roanoke Rapids. Exit on Highway 158 (exit # 173) and turn right toward Weldon. Stay on 158 and go through Weldon. After passing Weldon, veer to the right to stay on Highway 158. Go 1.3 miles and turn left on Jackson Bypass (SR 1311). Go 8.6 miles and turn left on Mt Carmel Road (SR 1333). Go 5.3 miles and the property will be on the left, at the red gate in the field.

Timber Stands

The property contains both naturally regenerated timber and planted timber. Stands 4 and 5 contain second generation loblolly pines from Weyerhaeuser and have received site preparation and release treatments. Stand 1 can be thinned in the next two years while stands 2 and 3 can be thinned and/ or clearcut immediately.
