Knapp of Reeds creek flows through the property and is subject to a 300' wide conservation easement. The property borders the Butner Game Lands which will be buffered by a "no-build" easement. The land has miles of drivable roads, shooting lanes and food plots. The land encompasses a nearly 600 foot high "mountain". Access is from Blue Mountain Road (private).

The land was formerly located within Camp Butner.
