Description

Located about 30 miles east of the Charlotte area, this wooded property has over 8,000 feet of State road frontage, mid-aged planted loblolly pine timber and frontage along Lane's Creek.

The property has two stands of planted loblolly pine and a natural hardwood and pine stand along Lane's Creek. The 1989 loblolly pines are enrolled in the CRP until 2010 and the new landowner can assume the contract and receive a yearly payment of approximately $1,150.

The property is set up for hunting and has about a mile of interior roads, shooting lanes and food plots. Deer stands, feeders, etc do not convey. Nearby 70 acres also for sale.

Directions

From Wadesboro: Take Highway 742 north about 10 miles and turn right on Cedar Grove Church Road (SR 1610). Continue 2.5 miles and turn right on Morton Road (SR 1654). Go .3 mile, the property is on both side of the road.

Timber Stands

The timber includes two planted loblolly pine stands and one natural pine and hardwood stand. Stand 2 provides a payment of $1,150/year under the CRP. The timber can be managed for long term production and will provide period income through thinnings as well as large revenues during the final harvest.
