Winton Timberland

Description

Located in eastern North Carolina, this timberland property contains a 16 year old loblolly pine plantation, frontage along Old Highway 13 and water and sewer access. The land has 1,312 feet of frontage along Old Highway 13 just outside of the town of Winton. Public sewer, water and electricity is located along the road frontage. A licensed Soil Scientist has examined the property and found the soil to be suitable for shallow placement septic systems. Formerly corporate owned timberland, the property contains a very productive stand of 16 year old loblolly pine.

The trees are 16 years old and received an improvement thinning in July 2010. The stand should be thinned again around 2016 and the final harvest should occur around 2024.
